# Pitchline

> Pitchline is a free, unofficial Fantasy Premier League (FPL) helper — captain, transfer and fixture tips — plus free Premier League games: Last Fan Standing, the Six score predictor, Scorers, season predictions and a daily guess-the-player puzzle. Not affiliated with Fantasy Premier League or the Premier League.

Key facts:

- Free to use. No money is taken, held or paid out, and there are no prizes.
- Unofficial: not affiliated with Fantasy Premier League or the Premier League. Users manage their real FPL squad on fantasy.premierleague.com.
- Data: Fantasy Premier League's free public data (players, prices, fixtures, results, expected goals) plus Pitchline's own goals and expected-points models.
- Clark, Diana and Peter (the Pitchline Heroes) are fictional, computer-run managers who play Last Fan Standing, Six, Scorers and season predictions alongside users.
- Browsing and the daily puzzle need no account. The other games need a free account (email and password) and a nickname shown on that game's tables.

## Games

### [Last Fan Standing](https://pitchline.team/last-fan-standing)

A survivor pool: pick one Premier League club to win each gameweek, without repeating a club. Last one still in wins the pool.

- A win keeps you in. A loss knocks you out, and so does a draw unless the pool says otherwise.
- You can't pick the same club again until you've used all twenty.
- Picks lock at the FPL deadline and stay hidden until then.
- A double gameweek counts the club's first match; a postponed match counts as a survive. If everyone left goes out in the same week, they all stay in.
- Private pools with an invite code. Each club shows a win chance from Pitchline's goals model, and a planner looks six gameweeks ahead.

### [Six](https://pitchline.team/six)

A weekly score predictor: predict the score in six Premier League matches each gameweek, in private leagues or the public Beat the Heroes league.

- Pitchline picks the six closest-looking matches; everyone predicts the same six.
- Exact score: 5 points. Right result (home win, draw or away win): 2 points.
- One optional double-up joker a week doubles one match: 10 for an exact score, 4 for the right result.
- Predictions lock at the FPL deadline and are revealed to the league after it.
- Top score wins the week; most points wins the season.

### [Beat the Heroes](https://pitchline.team/six/heroes)

A public Six league anyone can join. The goal is to finish the season ahead of Pitchline's three fictional Heroes, Clark, Diana and Peter.

- Scored like any Six league: 5 for an exact score, 2 for the right result, one double-up joker a week.
- You predict for it separately from your private leagues.

### [Scorers](https://pitchline.team/six/scorers)

A weekly anytime-scorer game: back up to five outfield players before the deadline and earn a point for each one who scores.

- Goals are the tiebreak. A player whose club doesn't play that week doesn't count.
- Picks stay hidden until the deadline. One public table for the season.
- The page lists the week's likeliest scorers with a chance to score for each.

### [Season predictions](https://pitchline.team/six/season)

Predict the Premier League champions, top four, three relegated clubs and the top scorer.

- 10 points for the champions, 3 for each top-four and relegated club, 5 if your top scorer finishes joint top — 36 points at most.
- Picks can change until the GW19 deadline; points move with the live table.
- The page shows a projected final table and top scorer as a hint.

### [Daily puzzle: Guess the player](https://pitchline.team/puzzle)

Guess the day's mystery Premier League player in eight tries, using club, position, price, goals and Fantasy points clues.

- One new puzzle a day, the same for everyone. Guests can play; sign in to keep a streak.
- Each guess shows green for a match, amber for close, and an arrow for higher or lower.
- Practice mode (/puzzle/practice) gives unlimited random players and never touches the daily streak.

## Common questions

### What is Pitchline?

Pitchline is a free website with tips for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) — captains, transfers, fixtures, prices and live points — and five free Premier League games: Last Fan Standing, Six, Scorers, season predictions and a daily guess-the-player puzzle.

### Is Pitchline the official Fantasy Premier League site?

No. Pitchline is unofficial and not affiliated with Fantasy Premier League or the Premier League. Your FPL squad stays on fantasy.premierleague.com; Pitchline can't make transfers or change your team.

### Is Pitchline free? Are there prizes?

Everything is free. Pitchline doesn't take, hold or pay out money, and there are no prizes. A private league can note what friends have agreed is at stake, but that's between them.

### Do I need an account or an FPL team?

No account is needed to browse or to play the daily puzzle. A free account (email and password) lets you play Last Fan Standing, Six, Scorers and season predictions, keep a puzzle streak, and link a public FPL team ID for advice on your own squad.

### How does Six scoring work?

Predict six Premier League scores each gameweek. An exact score is 5 points and the right result is 2. One double-up joker a week doubles a match: 10 for exact, 4 for the result. Predictions lock at the FPL deadline.

### How does Last Fan Standing work?

Pick one club to win each gameweek. A win keeps you in; a loss, and usually a draw, knocks you out. You can't reuse a club until you've used all twenty. Last one standing wins the pool.

### Who are Clark, Diana and Peter?

The Pitchline Heroes: three fictional managers run by Pitchline, each playing in a different style. They play Last Fan Standing, Six, Scorers and season predictions, so you can try to beat them. They aren't real people or real FPL accounts.

### Where does Pitchline's data come from?

Players, prices, fixtures, results and expected goals come from Fantasy Premier League's free public data. Win chances, likely scores and expected points come from Pitchline's own models. Tips are hints, not guarantees.

### Does Pitchline send reminders?

Signed-in users can get optional deadline reminder emails about a day before each FPL deadline, plus a last call a few hours before if a game pick is still missing. They can be turned off in Account.
