Reading live points

Live follows your linked squad through the gameweek, so you can see where your week stands without refreshing the official app. Every figure is provisional: it comes from FPL’s live data and moves as matches go on.

What it shows

  • Your week total, with your captain’s points doubled, or your vice-captain’s if the captain doesn’t play.
  • Each player’s points so far. A player whose match hasn’t started shows his opponent, such as “LEE (H)”, instead of a score, so a 0 always means he played and blanked.
  • The bonus race. In every match, the three best performers on FPL’s Bonus Points System get 3, 2 and 1 extra points. Projected bonus appears after about 20 minutes and can change until the final whistle.
  • Likely bench swaps. If a starter doesn’t play, FPL brings on your first bench player who did, as long as your formation stays valid. Live shows the swaps that look likely so far.

When points are final

Scores become final at 09:00 UK time the morning after the gameweek’s last match. Until then, bonus and defensive contribution points can still change. The overall rank shown is the last one FPL published, not a live estimate, and Pitchline holds live data for a short while between refreshes so it doesn’t overload FPL’s servers.
