This policy explains what information I collect and how it is used when you use Pitchline. Pitchline is an unofficial Fantasy Premier League helper — not affiliated with Fantasy Premier League, the Premier League, clubs, or players. Stats and identification imagery come from public free APIs / public image URLs only; Pitchline does not log into Fantasy accounts.

Information I collect

• Account details — email address and password (stored securely hashed). There is no display name or public manager profile. You may optionally save a timezone preference for deadline prep emails
• FPL team link — the optional Fantasy Premier League team ID you choose to connect
• Watchlist — Fantasy Premier League player IDs you bookmark to keep an eye on (private to your account)
• Messages — contact-form submissions and any replies I send
• Spam protection — when enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile may verify public form submissions such as contact, join, password reset, and verification resend (Cloudflare processes a short-lived challenge token; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy)
• Usage data — session cookies needed to keep you signed in, plus publicly available FPL player/fixture JSON and publicly available club/player images cached to power the UI
• Analytics — when enabled, Google Analytics may collect anonymised usage metrics such as pages viewed and approximate location, via cookies or similar technology from Google

How I use it

• To provide Pitchline rankings, squad advice, your watchlist, and your account
• To send email confirmation, password-reset, and optional deadline prep messages when needed
• To show dates and times in your preferred timezone (saved on your account, or detected from your browser)
• To review contact messages and keep Pitchline safe
• To understand how Pitchline is used so I can improve it

Sharing

I do not sell your personal information. I may use trusted email delivery providers solely to send account-related messages. When analytics is enabled, Google may process usage data under their own terms — see Google’s privacy policy.

Retention

I keep account data while your account is active. Contact messages remain until I remove them. You can ask me to update or delete information via the contact form or your Account settings where available.

Your choices

• Update your timezone (Account → Profile), FPL team, and watchlist under Account (also Watchlist)
• Contact me to request help with your account

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your account, including hashed passwords and signed sessions. No online service is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.
