Pitchline

Metrics explained

What Score, xGI, FDR and the other labels mean across Pitchline.

Pitchline rankings & player stats

P. score
Pitchline’s own ranking score. It blends form, expected involvement, value for money, and the next fixtures — then flags availability risks.
Form
FPL’s form rating based on points in recent gameweeks. Higher usually means hotter.
xGI
Expected goal involvements — how many goals and assists the underlying chances suggest, not just what finished.
Own%
Ownership percentage — how widely held the player is across FPL. Low ownership can mean a differential.
£
Player’s current Fantasy Premier League price, in millions of pounds.
Why
A short summary of what’s driving the Pitchline Score — form, fixtures, ownership, or fitness flags.
Pos
Playing position: goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, or forward.

Squad advice

Δ

Slot
Position in the 15-man squad list.

Fixtures & outlook

FDR
Fixture Difficulty Rating from FPL. 1 is easiest; 5 is hardest.
Outlook
Inverse of FDR so higher numbers look better when scanning targets. Calculated as 6 minus FDR.
Avg FDR
Mean Fixture Difficulty Rating across the next fixtures shown on this page. Lower is kinder.
Avg outlook
